Josie the Jack Russell Terrier was rescued from the Ontario Veterinary College by Dr. Amanda and her husband 16 years ago. She was brought there by a breeder and surrendered to the University because of a congenital heart defect called a Porto-Systemic Shunt - much like human babies. She endured multiple invasive procedures, and a complicated heart surgery but has never looked back.
Her professional interests include greeting clients and licking people's legs while they wait at the reception desk. In her spare time she enjoys second dinners, summers at the cottage and a warm blankie.
